Breast Assessment

Being aware of your Breast would most likely make you notice any change in your Breast. At Crestview Radiology our Breast Assessment Procedure ensures that you take responsibility for early change while guiding you through the process.

We offer complete routine check, with regular digital mammogram and immediate ultrasound scan of the Breast for further assessment.

Digital Mammography

A mammogram is a low-dose x-ray technique to detect breast cancer. Our diagnostic mammogram exam offers additional information through additional x-rays and/or sonography. This further evaluation is done at that time and the patient is given her results.

HSG, Sono-HSG, Selective HSG

Hysterosalpingography (HSG) is a radiological procedure used to detect blocked tubes. A contrast media is introduced into the uterus ad observed under x-ray. However, Sono-HSG is observed under ultrasound wave.

Selective HSG differs from a traditional HSG in that each tube is selected individually while introducing contrast media and monitoring the pressure. Depending the on the pressure or status of the tube, a threadlike tiny wire can be introduced to dislodge any debris or mucus plugs, opening a previously blocked or partially blocked tube.

Selective HSG has shown to greatly improve fertility rates in the patients initially diagnosed with tubal blockage.

Breast MRI

MRI of the breast is used when your physician has performed other exams but the results are inconclusive. A breast MRI can offer additional information for your physician to use in the diagnostic process. Additionally, breast MRI may be used as a screening test for women with a high risk of breast cancer.
