Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI Scan 1.5T)
Our latest wide bore MRI Machine with dedicated coils provides accurate investigation of Brain, Spine and Joints. In addition, it is capable of carrying out studies of the Liver, Biliary Tree (MRCPs) and Pelvic Organs. Other procedures are Breast MR, MR Angiogram which scans arteries and veins of the Brain, Body Extremities and Abdomen.
Computed Tomography (CT Scan 32Sclice)
This is a multi-slice CT, multi-formatted with 3D imaging capabilities which have increased diagnostic accuracy. With this new device, studies can be finished in seconds, saving patient’s time.
CT-guided biopsies and drainage procedures are also done routinely. Our machine is supported by a modern pressure injector for contrast medium administration.
The 3D images are of great help in the evaluation of fractures, tumors and aneurysms.
CT angiogram is of value in pulmonary embolism, abdominal arteries and extremities, neck and brain vessels.
CT assisted virtual colonoscopy is an important tool that can be applied to very sick patients who are not fit for colonoscopy.
Ultrasound & Doppler Studies
An ultrasound scan, sometimes called a sonogram, is a procedure that uses high-frequency sound waves to create an image of part of the inside of the body. It is a painless and safe procedure in which sound waves are bounced off internal organs of the body, creating an image for the radiologist or other physician to use for diagnostic purposes.
To ensure quality in all our procedures, our ultrasound procedures are carried out by our Radiologist who specialize in imaging procedures such as X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound and nuclear medicine. We offer specialized Ultrasound procedures such as Anomaly Scan, Sono HSG and Doppler Studies.
